Bomb's Away Cafe, in Corvallis, is well known for it night-time music venue. They have bands from all over the state trying to book a spot. I had a chance to head down there to hear, Santino Cadiz's band play.

Around 9:30 p.m. Friday, June 7th, Santino opened the busy crowd to some reggae that soothed the atmosphere, putting the crowd in a relaxed state. You can see many patrons, sitting with their friends enjoy the ambiance.

Matt Shirley, Santino Cadiz, Aaron Linn, and Tim Anderson.
The four piece band played with precision, entertain the crowd for about an hour. Santino Cadiz's Band is  based out of Portland, on the Anthropos Records label. If you go on Santino's blog, "Love Life Music", he explains his thoughts on why his music is important to him. "We came down here tonight, Corvallis, to share a little love with ya all," says Santino.

Santino laid the lyrics down smooth, backed by the rhythm guitar, while Matt Shirley pulled the reggae solos out with fluid motion.

If you ever get a chance, check out Santino Cadiz's music and theories about it. To him, music is life and its expression. So if you are into some reggae, good vibes, and smooth sounds; Cadiz is your band.
